President Zhan Dongsheng and Executive Vice President Sun Lansheng Attended the APRACA’s 75th Executive Committee Meeting and Regional Policy Forum
President Zhan Dongsheng and Executive Vice President Sun Lansheng attended APRACA’s 75th Executive Committee Meeting and the Regional Policy Forum on “Promoting Digital Financial Services as a Critical Vehicle to Financial Inclusion for Farmer Collectives” on 20 July to advertise Global Development Initiative and exchange thoughts with attendees on development of agricultural and rural finance in the Asia-Pacific. In his closing remarks at the Regional Policy Forum titled “Digital Financial Services for Farmer Collectives”, President Zhan Dongsheng shared his insights into characteristics of the development of digital inclusive finance and proposed ways in which digital finance could facilitate the agricultural and rural development. In his closing remarks at the Executive Committee Meeting, Executive Vice President Sun Lansheng made summary remarks and called upon APRACA members to forge consensus and enhance cooperation.
Representatives from ADBC and agricultural financial institutions from India, Vietnam and other countries in the Asia-Pacific region attended the events. Senior staff from Institute of Rural Finance and Development and International Department of ADBC headquarters were present.
